Starting with Tucker Serial Number 1009 a 3/4 inch sub floor sitting on 1 inch blocks was added as the floor was too deep.
Also starting with 1009 the steering column was lenghtened 2 inches and the trailing arms were lengthened 2 inches making car wheelbase 130 inches.
Tucker's 1002 through 1006 had radios with buttons number 1-2-3-4-5-M with the 2 controld coming through the instrument panel face plate.
All Tucker's had Motorola Model 708T radios.
The firing order for the Tucker engine was 1-4-5-2-3-6. Odd cylinders on the left bank, even on the right. The timing mark on the balance ring below the water pump is the pointer.
Timing is 10 degrees BTC on Retard. 40 degrees on Advanced.
Tucker 1026 and later had no rheostat for dash lights, no separate switch for dash and key lights. Dash lights were wired into head/park light circuit.

Tucker Serial number on had non deep dish wheels without ventilated holes and the hub caps were not louvered.

The first Tucker's had a "wander problem" which was corrected by setting the rear toe in to 1/8 inch.

Bumper pieces are numbered and have no bearing on car number. They do not interchange, except as a unit as sub parts do not interchange. One piece may say 13 and the piece fitted to it may say 17 another piece of the same bumper may say 6 and so forth.

The numbers on the taillights are numbered, and have no bearing on the car serial number. One cover does not fit the lower section of another without "hand fitting". One piece may be stamped 25 and the other piece
stamped 29 but they are hand fitted to each other.

I have not seen a set of tail lights or a bumper assembly that had the same number for the entire set or asembly.

Front wheel bearings are Timkin Roller Bearings, not ball bearings.

In my first message the word controls is mispelled. The radio controls came through the instrument panel face plate.
The non deep dish wheels started with Tucker Serial Number 1026.
Finally the radios with push buttons 1-2-3-4-5-M started with Tucker Serial Number 1001, not 1002.
